Hello, my name is Noel Vallejo, CEO of TestOut Corporation based in Pleasant Grove, Utah in the heart of Utah's "Silicon Slopes" technology corridor.
TestOut was founded in 1991. When I tell people we are in our 28th year of business, they are surprised. In this day and age, and in our industry, it's not typical to be in business this long. Through the years, I haven't minded the ups and downs because I know that TestOut changes people's lives by providing them with training software that will prepare them to pass critical industry certifications and progress in their careers. And that is why you should consider doing business with us… You understand why we do what we do.
I can confidently say that TestOut products are far superior to those of our competitors. Some publishers will sell you video training, and others will sell you practice exams or books; but we offer an all-in-one software product through our LabSim courseware. Not only will students receive video training, practice exams, and text lessons, they receive the best hands-on training available from the experts in online simulations. Our simulation labs may cost the most to produce, but they differentiate us from the competition. We know they provide the best way to learn because they give true experience. And that's what drives us – helping students acquire skills necessary to succeed on the job.
As I look at TestOut's competitors, they may offer more titles than we do. At times I have to restrain myself from developing more products at the cost of what I believe students really need to be successful in acquiring in-demand job skills. I have come to the conclusion that whatever we do, we will do it better than anyone in the market. My philosophy – If we can't develop a great product, then I don't want to be a part of it.
I have seen companies come and go while TestOut has stayed strong and true to our cause. So I believe that our approach to doing business is optimal for the long-term success – focus on helping students get the comprehensive training and certifications they need to succeed.
