Updated A+ (220-701 & 220-702)

On August 8th, 2012 TestOut issued an update to LabSim for A+ Essentials (220-701) and LabSim for A+ Practical Application (220-702). The update converted 13 of the current lab simulations from a Windows Vista environment to a Windows 7 environment. No new course content (ie. new exam questions) were added and the course outline remained the same.

As with previous updates to TestOut courses, this update took place automatically inside the browser-based version of LabSim. As the online version has several advantages over the older client version, the windows client version was not updated and is no longer available. To access the courses users should sign in to the browser version using the login box at www.TestOut.com.

Other enhancements include:

  • Computer hardware used in the simulations have an updated look and feel.
  • Mouse wheel zoom in and zoom out.
  • When a cable is selected the opposite connector(s) on the same cable is highlighted.
  • Improved compatibility with Firefox and Safari.
