The Configuring Windows 7 course prepares you to install, manage, and troubleshoot Windows 7 in a business environment. The course focuses on configuration tasks performed at the client computer, such as would be performed by a desktop administrator in a small, medium, or large business.

A+ training (or equivalent) is recommended before starting Windows 7 training.  

Passing the 70-680 certification exam gives you an MCTS certification, and can also be used as the client operating system requirement for the MCITP Enterprise Administrator certification.
