Exam Builder
To access the The Custom Exam Editor, click the Customer Exams link from the navigation menu in browser-based LabSim: Click the Create Exam button to see the exam editor and create a new exam, edit one of your existing exams, or delete an exam. Complete the respective fields as desired:
In the exam editor, both simulations and exam questions are displayed in the selection area. Select the questions you want to include by browsing through the courses and clicking Add for any question you want to include:
Use the Review tab to preview the exam:
When you are done selecting questions, go to the Finish tab to save the exam.
Scheduling Exams
Students must be scheduled before they can take the exam. Press Schedule Exam under the respective class and exam title. Select the students or Select All. Press the Schedule button.
Select the Availability start and end times. You can also password protect the test. Click OK and then click Apply to save. Once the exam is scheduled, students will see the upcoming date/time of the test.
Taking Exams
Students use a web browser to log on to their accounts and take scheduled exams. Students see upcoming exams under their respective class. See Taking Exams for additional information.
Students will see “1 Assessment Exam Available” when the date/time occur for the student to take the test.
Exam Results
Once students have finished their exams, their scores are immediately available for the instructor. Press “View Reports” under the respective class and exam title. The students will be listed alphabetically by last name. Initially you can identify which students passed or failed the exam and the associated times
