Noel Vallejo, CEO
Noel Vallejo is TestOut's visionary architect. In this capacity he leads the Company's strategic initiatives,
identifies market opportunities, and drives product direction. In tandem with providing insight for the creation of new
product set offerings, he answers to "no one but the bottom line" with his responsibilities of managing the Company's
strategic assets, profitability, and capital ventures. Vallejo incorporated TestOut in 1991 with the vision of combining
interactive training curriculum with information technology to develop tools that would improve the way people learn and
retain information. This experienced-based training (EBT) remains the foundation from which all TestOut's solution set
offerings stem. Prior to founding TestOut, Vallejo worked as a market analyst at Novell Education. His expertise in
interpreting market needs have been instrumental in the creation and continued growth of TestOut's technology offerings.
He earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Brigham Young University and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.

Douglas Edwards, President
Douglas Edwards directs TestOut’s finances and operations including oversight of corporate growth, management, technology
and accounting systems. He is also a member of TestOut's marketing committee, which defines and develops new business
markets. Edwards joined TestOut in 1993, when in addition to supervising finance, he also managed marketing, sales, and
product development. Prior to joining TestOut, Edwards worked for WordPerfect Corporation where he was responsible for
managing client operations. Before WordPerfect, Edwards was part of a development team charged with identifying and
developing new markets for SkyMall, publishers of in-flight catalogs. He holds a bachelor's degree in Chinese languages
from Brigham Young University and received an MBA with an emphasis in international business and technology from Utah
State University.
Don Whitnah, Vice President
Don Whitnah is responsible for TestOut's research product development. He is instrumental in not only creating new training
product strategy but actually developing it. Whitnah is a veteran to course development with nearly 15 years course
development experience including computer-based training (CBT) design, multimedia product development and simulation
development for testing and training environments. He has even produced railroad operations courses currently used in
degree programs. Whitnah's strengths lie in both his ability to understand complex technology and to translate that into
effective learning. Whitnah holds a BA in Near Eastern Studies (Magnum Cum Laude), from Brigham Young University and a
Masters of Instruction Science also from BYU. He is also a Certified Novell Instructor (CNI), Certified Novell Engineer (CNE),
Certified Novell Administrator (CNA), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
Trent Howell, Director of Marketing
Trent Howell leads the TestOut marketing team and oversees all marketing initiatives. As a results-oriented professional, he is
focused on delivering the most effective marketing programs possible to drive continued growth for TestOut. Trent brings more than
15 years of successful marketing experience to his position at TestOut. Included in that experience is 5 years as director of
marketing for Certiport where he was responsible for the introduction and ongoing marketing of the global digital literacy standard
and certification program known as IC3 – the Internet and Computing Core Certification. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics
and Spanish as well as an MBA degree with an emphasis in marketing from Brigham Young University.
Daniel Bird, Sales Manager
Daniel Bird joined TestOut in 2009 to expand and lead the sales team. A goal-oriented sales manager with over 15 years’ experience
developing and managing customer relationships, Daniel has spent 12 years in the computer training industry. Daniel worked for New
Horizons Computer Learning Centers in California, Oregon, and New Mexico as an Enterprise Sales Manager and also for CompUSA in
western Washington, as a Technology Market Training Manager. Daniel managed enterprise sales and developed training strategies for
large corporations including Microsoft, Novell, Sun Microsystems, and Alaska Airlines. He also assisted federal, state and local
government agencies in implementing and delivering effective training solutions. Daniel has a strong knowledge of information and
learning technology, computer-based training, and e-learning.
