IT/Academic Outside Sales Representative
TestOut Corporation is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to increase
sales of LabSim to Academic Institutions. A successful Outside Sales Representative will make outbound
prospecting/cold calls, provide pricing, generate quotes, close sales, maintain strong customer relationships,
meet and exceed sales goals. This position reports directly to the Sales Manager and will work closely with
other sales team members.
Responsibilities will include
- Develop new business through prospecting and leads
- Make customer and prospect sales visits
- Create sales quotes
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Close business and generate additional revenue for the company
- Provide exceptional customer service and form strong client relationships
- Maintain accurate customer records in CRM
Required qualifications include:
- Minimum 2 years of outside experience with responsibility for closing sales.
- Excellent prospecting, cold-calling and customer service skills
- Effective negotiating and closing skills required
- Excellent prioritization and time management skills
- Excellent planning and forecasting skills along with knowledge of account development strategies
- Demonstrated ability to create sales proposals and to acquire multi-unit accounts
- Proven success carrying an individual quota
- Professional solution-based selling and account management skills
- Excellent communication and analytical skills
- Solid understanding of internet-based tools, Microsoft Office, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Technical Trainer / MCT
Are you a certified IT trainer looking for a change of pace and a new challenge?
TestOut Corporation is looking for an expert trainer to join our development staff. As a member of our team,
you will help produce industry-leading self-study products tailored for the networking professional.
Your duties will include:
- Recording videos and demonstrations to be included in our self-study training courses
- Designing hands-on labs
- Acting as a subject-matter expert to our simulation programmers and technical writers
- Writing course content and exam preparation materials
- Reviewing course content developed by contract instructors and in-house developers for technical accuracy and completeness
- Researching new technologies and certifications
- Refreshing existing course content
This is a full-time, permanent position with little or no travel.
Required qualifications include:
- 3+ years technical training with an IT instructor certification (MCT, CCSI, CNI)
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and networking products
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to explain complex topics in a clear manner
- An understanding of networking technologies that goes beyond the official curriculum
- Strong writing skills and attention to detail
- An attitude of excellence
Desired qualifications include:
- Additional experience with Cisco, Linux, SQL, and/or Exchange

Academic Marketing Manager
Description:
TestOut Corporation is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Academic Marketing Manager to increase both new customer
acquisition and existing customer sales. The person selected for this position will report to the Director of Marketing and will
be directly involved in establishing TestOut as the premier solution for hands-on IT training.
Responsibilities will include:
- Increase new academic customer acquisition and existing customer sales
- Create and implement marketing campaigns for academic market segments
- Develop and refine messaging that influences academic buyers
- Develop ongoing marketing communications to retain and grow customers
- Create marketing collateral to support academic marketing initiatives
- Oversee marketing content for academic LabSim web site
- Set and report against marketing goals
- Work closely with academic sales to ensure consistent approach to target audiences
Required qualifications include:
- 3-6 years progressive marketing experience to an academic audience with proven, measurable results
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Experience conducting research
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
